American Camp Association-ACA provides educational resources, research, policy work, outreach to parents, families, and other professionals to build safer, healthier, more fun environments where children and youth can become leaders, environmental stewards, and a healthier population. Members of ACA have for decades been giving children and adults quality opportunities to learn powerful lessons in community, leadership, character-building, skill development, and healthy living.

Youth Onbelay is currently working with the ACA to become an officially accredited camp. The main purpose of the ACA-accreditation program is to educate camp owners and directors in the administration of key aspects of camp operation, particularly those related to program quality and the health and safety of campers and staff. The standards establish guidelines for needed policies, procedures, and best practices. The second purpose of ACA accreditation is to assist the public in selecting camps that meet industry-accepted and government-recognized standards.

Youth Onbelay also plans to utilize the ACA's "Send a child to camp" campaign to target low income families who may not have the financial resources to send a child to our program. The goal is to solicit donations in order to  provide services to under-resourced, low-income areas.

Play for Peaceis a global nonprofit organization which brings together children, youth, and organizations from communities in conflict, using cooperative play to create laughter, compassion and peace. Play for Peace was founded on a core belief that few things can provide a common link between people like laughter and play. Through cooperative play, we have a universal and non-threatening platform around which people can come together and learn. Play creates a gateway to moments when differences dissolve, fear melts away, and we see what connects us rather than what divides us.

Youth Onbelay's leaders are trained in PFP games and activities.
